The vertical strings are made of Vectran™, a super fiber more than twice as powerful as nylon. Combined with a super-thin cross string, this hybrid setup retains more impact energy while giving you access to enhanced repulsion for explosive power. We design and manufacture our strings at Yonex facilities in Japan where we engineer nextgeneration polyesters and hybrids and are able to control quality down to the smallest detail. The high-intensity nylon core gives greater durability than normal nylon while a high-polymer nylon outer provides sharp feeling and high repulsion - exceptional all-round performance from an extra-fine string.
Highly packed resin between core and outer string removes gaps between core and string, resulting in an ultra-fine gauge and incredible strength.
